On February 8 , 2010 we will see the first SmartPilot event for Israel’s large organization’s IT managers - roughly fifty chief executives that have shown a focused interest in adopting new IT technologies developed by Israeli start-ups.

The event will be attended by Israeli start-ups that have already reached the professional stage where they can start a pilot in a large-scale Israeli organization and present their project to the local organizational computing executives, partners at various venture capital funds - ones which have invested in these companies, and Israeli representatives of the international IT companies which manage various cooperations with local IT start-ups.

After a long series of interviews we have held with organization’s IT managers, we have decided on a half-day program that will host four simultaneous streams: virtualization, security, storage and innovation.

Each of the streams will showcase the CEOs of 4 young, promising start-ups in that respective field in front of the potential customers that have voiced an interest in starting a technological pilot in the organization during 2010. Each demo will last about 15 minutes, and will be followed by a Q&A session between the start-up’s CEO and IT managers.
